The World Trade Organization (WTO) is a global organization dealing with the global rules of trade between nations. The World Trade Organization is created in January 1, 1995 and it is located in Geneva, Switzerland. The birth of WTO is the result of the Uruguay Round Negotiations held under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). The WTO is more likely a new version of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).The decision making in WTO is a consensus base were only few countries or it is more likely the developed countries are really participating …show more content…

The rules set by the WTO on the governments means that those governments are forbidden to regulate corporations, because the WTO is a system used by the companies to escape from the laws of each countries. It only means that WTO is not really about trade between nations but it is about hand cost on policies that the government can put in a place.

The World Trade Organization is not a fair trade organization because it controls the basic services like water and electricity. This organization concerned only to privatized and regulate certain services and to let private companies to come in. The dirty tactics used by this organization to control developing countries is a threat to humanity, imagining these big corporations ruling over poorest countries is somewhat unbearable. It is insane to foresee people being slave by big corporation in his own country and in his own mother land, and it is insane to let those big businesses to take over what is …show more content…

The aims and objective of this organization seems to be contradicting to what is really happening in reality the non-discriminatory, reciprocity, market access and fair competition principle of the WTO is not observe. These different principles of the organization only observe in paper because it is only made just for the sake of publicity.
