Yes, in addition to my current role as a Project Manager and licensed realtor, I have significant previous experience in roles that are highly relevant to affordable housing development.
As a Program Lead for the Urban League in Sacramento’s Oak Park community, I gained valuable experience in community development, outreach, and engagement. I worked closely with community members to identify their needs and priorities, and to develop programs and services that would help to address those needs. I understand the importance of providing job opportunities and workforce training to individuals and families in affordable housing communities, and the positive impact that this can have on their lives. This experience has also been invaluable in my current role at Urban Strategies, Inc., where we work to create affordable housing solutions that not only provide safe and affordable housing, but also job opportunities and support services that help individuals and families to thrive.
Overall, I believe that my previous experience as a Program Lead and Director of Workforce Development has provided me with a unique set of skills and perspectives that are highly relevant to affordable housing development.
