Good morning Ms Eagle and 10B. World War 2 started during 1939 and continued to 1945. These 6 years consisted of bloody battles and brought terrible trauma. This multimodal presentation will discuss the impact World War 2 had on the Australian citizens living and working in Australia during the war. My hypothesis for this topic is that the war changed Australians lives severely. I believe their lives during the time of the war would have been very hard, constantly living in fear of what was to come.
World War II had many outcomes, but not all of them affect the world today. Part of the outcomes that do affect the world today are affecting the world in different ways, for example the cold war, war crimes, division of Germany. One of the most important ones is the creation of UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights), but one can argue that the most important one is is the creation of Israel. Israel is very impactful today as it affects the world politically, economically and socially, and the UDHR is supposed to prevent discrimination, slavery, and inequality. The UDHR was formed on December 1948, (History of the Document) three years after the war ended.

On December 8th, 1941, the United States of America entered the greatest war of all time: the war against Hitler. World War II affected the United States economically, emotionally, and technologically. The problem of immigration, the mistreatment of the Japanese Americans, and the advancement of weapons and war tactics were all experienced by the citizens of the United States throughout the war. Through the course of the war, especially “during the 1930s, American fear of involvement in European conflicts became more widespread” (Eversale).
Anti-Semitism and Discrimination of the Jewish People Before and Leading up to WW1 Anti-Semitism in the dictionary means hostility to or prejudice against Jews. It has been a problem for the Jewish people ever since the times of the Egyptian Pharaoh’s and there on to about World War 2. The Pharaohs believed that the rapid growth of the Israelite people was a problem waiting to happen because they were thought to side with Egypt’s enemies. The Jewish people do not have a place to call their own so they become parts of other nations.
War is a natural, historical, repetitive event. World War Ⅰand World War Ⅱare the most well known wars that have happened in history to Canadians. Canada’s contributions to aid the Allies in both wars helped bring both to a swift end. Comparing both World War Ⅰ to World War Ⅱ, Canada’s contributions can be shown as not only heroic, but godly. When entering a war, a country must portray itself a certain way.
Three Words; Hate, Intolerance, Holocaust Millions of people are no longer here because of one of the darkest times in history ever. They are gone not because of crimes they committed; rather, these lives are gone because of the hate and intolerance of one group of people. The Holocaust included the genocide of 6,000,000 people because of their beliefs and even physical traits through the use of propaganda to brainwash German citizens. In an effort to commemorate both the victims and survivors of the Holocaust, films, novels, and children's books about the subject of the Holocaust are huge contributions to the learning and preventing of hatred and intolerance.
