Why I Love Jesus

In the near future anything could happen. We could find life on a new planet, have virtual video games and or have hover crafts. What if one of these days aliens from another planets comes to earth? He just want to ask some questions and one of those questions being “Who is Jesus and why is he so important to Christians?” There are so many things to say about Jesus but this is how I would explain him. First off I would talk about how he was important to me. Jesus is the son of God. He is our Lord and Savior. He sacrificed himself so that we not eternally damned to hell and we can one day live with God in eternal happiness in heaven. He made it that all of our sins are forgiven and he could have easily just left us. But he didn’t, he loved us so much that he would be willing to die for us. Have you ever had a really bad day and nothing seems to go your way? Want someone to talk to? This is why I love Jesus. I know that when I have one of those days or need someone to talk to I know I can always go to him to talk about anything. When I tell him my problems he will do what is best for me. With his resurrection, it shows the power of God. If you believe in the resurrection than you believe in God. God is the one that created this universe, our lives and can resurrect the dead. With Jesus’s resurrection is the resurrection of human beings. According to Scripture, Jesus died, was buried and rose from the grave on the third day. One of these days he is going to come back. “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And she dead in Christ will rise first.”(1 Thessalonians 4:16) The ones that believe in Christ are guaranteed not to remain dead and will be resurrected unto eternal
