I believe that the money we spend on memorials are spent the way in should. There is nothing better to spend money on the remembering people that have done things special in our lives. The money is spent to build memorials that we can visit to remember the brave things that people have done for us. The tomb of the unknown soldier has people who show up to watch the laying of the wreath to remember those who was unable to be identified. People spend money to support the soldiers and to make sure the wreaths and tomb is properly cared for and guarded. Many people go to watch the laying of the wreath. When a person goes to visit any type of a memorial you know that some type of emotion will be shown. When you visit a memorial for the loss of someone you know that there will be sadness but there will also be happiness from the people remembering the happy moments they had together.. If you who has visit someone who has done something special or brave happiness or excitement will be shown. When you go to visit the tomb of the unknown soldier who are sad because you know that they lost their lives but you are also happy and proud that they fought for the country and also you can be proud of the soldiers that march proudly guarding the tomb. The soldiers walk 21 steps for the 21 gun salute. When you value something you respect and appreciate the memorials. Also, from the way that the memorial is set up you can tell how people value them. The tomb of the unknown soldier is very highly valued because it is guarded 24/7. The soldiers hold a rifle away from the tomb for the pure purpose if someone tries to get past the ropes. The soldiers also have to be a certain height and weight. Their pant size can not be beyond 30”. They must all be close to the same height so that people cannot tell
