Why Steroids?
Imagine if you had a record that was so hard to beat, even the legends of that sport couldn’t make an attempt to break it. Then out of nowhere, a person that was never heard of breaks that record you’ve worked your entire life to achieve and the person who broke it was a steroid user. The communities of sports fans have different views on this subject. One side thinks steroids would be great for the entertainment and fun of the sport. The other fans think steroids are morally wrong and are a form of cheating. Steroids are an awful way to improve in your sport and typically desperate people tend to use them. It shows how desperate the athletes are for fame and fortune.
Some athletes and bodybuilders think steroids cannot hurt their bodies in any way. A lot of doctors recommend taking steroids if they are bodybuilders, but if that person is an athlete, they do not recommend using steroids. If that person ends up using steroids recommended by that doctor, there is a good chance of getting these symptoms: liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, shrinking of the testis and severe acne on the skin. If an athlete was allowed to use steroids, all of the records that were once held by legends of that respected sport would be broken. Those records wouldn’t just be broken; they would be obliterated over and over again, which would not be fun to see. Steroid users do not have much of sportsmanship when using steroids. Steroids can cause the hormones of that person and make them into a very angry, moody and unlikable person. One person, for example: Barry Bonds were a highly talented baseball player, but no one liked him, he would always get in trouble and the reason why he kept on getting trouble was because of the steroids he was
