Canterbury Tales: “Wife of Baths Tale” Imagine being a knight who is courteous and wise beyond many people! This character simply persists to be a modest man in shining armor, and a person who acts by the laws of chivalry. Excluding the fact that this man raped a young maiden, any one would be more than happy to be in his shoes. This character is what the true meaning of what a knight really is. Just picture a man of honor, and a man of dignity, who wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of a knight? This knight not only has to follow the acts of chivalry, but he does it because it’s the right thing to do. His garments are made of steal and his heart as pure as water. Despite the fact that the knight had killed many men in battle, his intentions
