In the West during the 1800s, the population was expanding. It was Very Wild, So that is why they called it the
"Wild West". Trails were expanding and the territories were being organized. In the southern of the United
States lifestyle was more traditional. There were a lot of farms , but they were far from each other. Another thing. was that there was also slavery. Plantations had most power over a given area.

During the 1800s in the northern the united states the old buildings resided. The industry was very important. There were also tons of Immigrants to fuel the material. And that is what they needed to keep the company going.There were lots of factories, which had the most power and influence over a given area.
