Humans require a lot of things to feel normal; better yet grow up normal but some of those things may be different to some of us but there are things that we all need that so many overlook. Many of us have to feel loved in order to feel good and go on in life and many of us won’t ever admit to “needing” it. I believe that comes from how we are raised, how well we can express ourselves. Some of us feel like it’s a sign of weakness, while others a sign of strength. It starts from the moment we are born the way we are held, talked and raised. Since we are all raised different what I feel is normal someone may feel awkward by it. In these last four chapters or Lord of the Flies written by William Golding we see the boys being more vicious with each other and not really thinking about they’re actions. Golding writes “Ralph sensed the position of the weapon from the glimpse of Jacks arm (176). It’s amazing what someone will do to get there way. Jack wants them all out and is willing to hurt someone without remorse it seems like. I think Ralph is smart and more aware than anyone thinks. I believe that when someone knows the right thing from the wrong it doesn’t necessarily mean they will do the right thing. I think in this particular incident nature played a big part and Jack is acting as an animal. Figuring out what is the best thing may not be the same in everyone’s list even more in a kid that is stuck in an island. Golding states that “which is better, law and rescue or hunting and breaking things up (180).” In my opinion law and rescue would be my priority but then again if I was a kid I think I may go with hunting and breaking things. It all depends what I would have gone through in my life that would alter the way I chose to do things in certain situations. I think that unfortunately most of the kids are scared so they justify their actions because it’s an emotion they can’t
