Financial Analysis The Home Depot has consistently produced excellent financial numbers, especially over the past few years. These results solidify them as the leader in the industry. Strong financials and pure size of the company are two contributing factors to success. As importantly, statistical analysis show The Home Depot to be an extremely well managed corporation. Total sales from Q3 2016 totaled $22.15 billion, an increase of 6.1% from the year prior.
In doing this he thought Christmas would not come and all of the Whos would be upset. This, however, is disproved by the singing in Christmas spirit that the Whos performed. Family reunions are often used to dwell upon the past and reflect upon one’s life. Richard Rodriguez, in is his passage, goes to extreme lengths to explain to the reader his carefully taken observation of his family’s life. Looking deeper into the words and feelings of the passage, Rodriguez portrays a sense of strong family values. It is apparent (by his selective use of diction and narrative structure found throughout the passage) that Rodriguez is writing to a more mature, experienced audience. As a mature writer, Rodriguez knows that the best way to connect with his audience is through the one day responsible for some of their greatest childhood memories -- Christmas.
Companies all over the globe will experience some sales and profit decrease. Home Depot in the growing housing industry benefited greatly from the houses being built. The accounting concept portrayed in this situation for home depot is called operating leverage. Operation leverage is when managers view a small change in revenue and magnify it to dramatic changes in revenue (Edmonds, Tsay, & Olds, 2011). With a decrease in the market for construction materials, Home Depot is experiencing a 3% decrease revenue and a 21% decrease in profitability.

As a frequent shopper in my city, I have experienced the benefits of chain stores and how they affect the locals that shop in them. It was mid-December in the North Pole during the time that Rudolph catches Emma the elf eating candy canes nonstop. Rudolph knows that her behaviour is wrong so when Santa Claus comes to feed the reindeer their peppermint flavoured gingerbread pellets that night he tells Santa what he saw. As he hears this he becomes cross with the elf. Santa has a wish to talk with Emma regarding the candy cane scenario but she’s sound asleep. On November 10 I attended Elf the Broadway Musical written by David Berrenbaum and directed by Sam Scalamoni. I attended Elf the Broadway Musical which was put on by Texas A&M University and MSC OPAS. Elf the Broadway Musical was a comedic musical that appealed to audience members of any ages including a range from myself a college student to the family of four sitting next to me. Elf the Broadway Musical was a delight surprise, since I had seen Elf (film) I expected the play to appeal more to a younger audience, but was surprised when I found myself laughing alongside the two children sitting next to me. I honestly did not have very high expectation from this play for some reason I was just not very excited to attend this play maybe it was
Dr. Seuss’ poem, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” can be analyzed using many different schools of criticism, however, the psychoanalytical school of criticism holds allows us to truly understand the “true meaning” behind the poem. The poem begins with a socially isolated character, the Grinch, who loathes Christmas and wishes to completely destroy it. He wants to completely eliminate Christmas from “Whoville.” The Grinch gets irritated whenever when he hears the singing from the children and sees families feasting together in the holiday season. However, as the poem progress, the Grinch starts to feel the love and happiness involved with Christmas and ends up correcting his wrongdoings to ultimately enjoy Christmas with the “Whos.”

This is why I have “Santa Clause is Coming to Town” right after “In the Bleak Midwinter”. People always enjoy the story of Santa Clause, because of his generosity and jolliness. “He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf”.
