Wisteria Garden Nursing Home is a privately owned boutique nursing and rehabilitation center. It was established in 2007, and is located on Hwy 80 in Pearl Mississippi. Amenities include beautiful courtyards with path for walking and seating for rest and scenic admiration. Group interaction is encouraged by providing amusing and demanding activities accessible in many of the multiuse common areas. The dining experience is no different; clients may enjoy socializing while dining in the restaurant style eating facility. Also, they have the option to enjoy a variety of meals provided through room service. Although Wisteria has top quality amenities the staff is fully committed to assisting clients achieve their most independent level of functioning. The goal of the staff is to get the client back to the independent or assisted life style he or she once lived. The staff consists of a rehabilitative therapy team made up of two speech therapists, two occupational therapists, two physical therapists, two nurses per shift, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, activity planning committee, an array of highly trained, skilled, and well informed assistants, and techs, and one Director of Social Work.
Social workers help clients resolve different categories of issues by suppling services to fulfill specific needs. Many social workers fulfill their obligation in nonprofit agencies designed to link people to services in which they are in need of. Others provide service through psychotherapy and counseling in mental-health clinics and hospitals. Social work directors often work in these same settings to assess potential needs while planning and implementing policies to ensure the best possible patient or client
