Women in the 19th century were losing all of their rights and the ones that they did get were not enforced. They grow discontent because they didn’t receive as much pay, if any, husbands were always drunk, and sometimes the husband beat the wife. The factors that caused changes to the form for women were the creation of women’s Labor unions, prohibition, and serious of other reforms that held successes in feminism. By 1914 some countries had granted women the right to vote and most women had a voice in politics. By the Beginning of WWI women in Europe proved they could do more than the traditions said they could. They created unions and they published articles, they even went held protest and riots on the streets to get what they wanted.
