Overview
Just like any other organization, non-profit organizations also need leaders with mission and vision to transform their organizations with great innovation. Within organizations, how does an individual develop a persona with the ability to create a vision for an organization and lead it toward the realization of that vision? Moreover, the model of leadership you employ defines how well your organization will meet their objectives and goals. Additionally, ethical leadership makes it effective for leaders to be able to lead with moral values, and be able to view each of the personnel in the organization as important to for the achievement of their goals. According to Alexander, women have been discussed as underrepresented in organizations. One of the most resulting factors is gender inequality, and especially at the leadership level. According to the research study, women have been identified as not to have the skills needed to be a leader. Another issue is lack of diversity in top leadership positions since for most of the nonprofit organizations, 73% of nonprofit sector employees are women. Moreover, it has been discussed that men are salaried high payments as compared to their female counterparts.

Even though there has been a massive number of women workers and volunteers in nonprofit organizations, study has found out that women serving at the executive offices are very few when considered to the number of men in such positions. In this study, respondents claimed that female due executives were identified to be heading nonprofits as compared to men. However, in comparison with other studies, fewer female board members were considered to serve as presidents and treasures in such agencies. The article concludes with greater information on why women should be included as leaders in future endeavors.
