“The history of American women is about the fight for freedom.”American women seeks to strengthen American democracy by increasing pulic awareness of the issues impacting women and families. American Women from the 1800’s and 1900’s to present day has change throughout the Women’s Right Movement, Women’s Suffrage Association, Civil Rights Movement, to present day. The history of American Women startes during the Women’s Right Movement. The main purpose of the Women’s Right Movement is to give equal rights to women. There were hundreds and thousands of women gathered together and formed the Women’s Right Movement. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, Susan B. Anthony, and Lucy Stone were the first four women to formed this movement. They would get together and host and conduct the meetings.
