Women’s suffrage:
I believe that women should have equal rights as men and should not be treated like property, and that women should have the same freedoms as men! The declaration of sentiment was drafted at the women’s suffrage convention in Seneca Falls, NY in 1848. I, Lucretia Mott, was one of the main speakers at the gathering for women’s suffrage. I also was one of the people that held the convention. I want my freedom By doing that I held a convention so men and women could make that possible. The declaration of sentiment helped that because it was made to mock the declaration of independence but for women 's rights and more. I wanted to show everyone it is possible to change something.
