Turning water into wine is another example of Jesus exposing his true self in public. The last passage that 's shows Jesus knows his position in the work of God is John 8:15-17 "You judge by human standards; I judge no one. Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is valid; for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me." The cleansing of the temple passage also shows God is his father and Jesus will do anything in his power to protect the family.
