I like Amitai Etzioni 's article because it is from the real world. Now, I am in a similar situation, and I understand how hard it is to distribute time for study, work, household duties, and leisure. It would be great if every teenager studied well at school, then at university, and then worked happily for the chosen profession all his life. Such a happy model sometimes happens but not with all people. Most people need to have the experience to make a choice of profession. In the article Working at McDonald 's, the author shares his experience and shows all aspects of a teenager 's work that can help them make the future decision. To get a job in McDonald 's, the teenagers do not need the special education. Only teenager within himself can decide how to use this work experience for his future. On the one hand, the teenager can without hesitation simply follow the instructions and get paid for it. Such a person will do this in everything and everywhere, in school and college, until he changes himself. On the other hand, such work can bring useful experience and earnings for study. Trying every position, the teenager can make a choice of the direction of the profession. Also, at work, the teenager can meet the adult people whose life experience can be interesting and useful for them. When a person puts his work into something, he begins to appreciate it more. In addition, the work makes the teenager more responsible and draws closer to the parents. At such a moment, the parents should support the teenager and help to make the right choice.
