In this society, working class are valued due to their hard work ethic, especially those working class who made a living by their sweat equity without a college education, because they struggled economically which also means not every working class can have that success . On the other hand working class are known as lazy people, failures, uneducated people. In American popular culture, according documentary Class Dismissed: How TV Frames the Working Class, by “Leistyna” working-class people are often portrayed as losers, however the documentary focus mostly on under-representation of working class people and their concerns and stereotypes use to portray their intersectional identities. My generation has been saturated with music that is degrading. The mainstream rappers and hip hop artists continue to thrive because of the popularity of their music. Supporters of these popular artists continue to listen to this music because they can connect to the themes represented. Many people are involved in violence and listening to mainstream rappers just reflects what they are experiencing. People also enjoy mainstream rappers because of the catchy beats and hooks.
Hip-hop culture has been the topic of various academic, social, and political discourses. Rap music, in particular, has made its way to mainstream media which is evident in the numerous films and movies that centers on what was once a part of an underground culture. Scholars explain that the popularity of hip-hop in both music and films are partly due to its potential to disseminate information, address an issue, and promote social change. The block parties, graffiti art, rapping, disc jockeying and diverse forms of dancing built Hip Hop by the black youth. They expressed their feelings, thoughts, but most importantly the problems they had to face, which were related to their race, gender and social positions. The rights that were given to black people during and after the Civil Rights Movement left the following generations at a lack of how to continue the fight for black rights. Hip Hop gave them this platform and with the usage of black nationalism, Hip Hop can explore the challenges that confront American-Americans in the post-Civil Rights Movement era. In the 1990’s Hip Hop lived its prime, sub genres started to appear and famous groups, MCs led the whole community, providing a voice to a group of people trying to deliver their message.

With this song that Alan Jackson wrote he talks about the tradition and how meaningful it is to him any many around him. He has a line in the song “ Old working class hero” in this quote he talks about “old”. With this he’s talking about the old and traditional way.
Professionalism in the Workplace Although there are tremendous amounts of varying definitions for what it means to have professionalism in the workplace, the definition can be narrowed down to a few attributes that most would agree with. Upon research, there are sources stating that professionalism means dressing appropriately and watching what comes out of the mouth, avoiding gossip (Anderson, 2016). Other sources say, it means picking your fights, whether that would be with the coworkers or even the boss (Fantahun et al., 2014).
Modern Era The Modern Era is the time period in musical development that began around the turn of the 20th century in which great changes in compositional techniques and styles took place. This era challenged and reinterpreted old styles of music, making it a time of great innovation. Introduction Roger’s and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music is arguably one of the most well known films that many can admit to watching at least once in their lifetime. People all around the world have found this musical inspiring, as it documents growth and hope amidst the horrors of World War II. This incredibly well written film is based on the story of the Von Trapp family who escaped Austria when the Nazis invaded it during the war. Part of what made this movie so interesting on so many different accounts was the music that accompanied the vivid and exciting scenes. Without music, many could agree that our world would be a sad, quiet, dull and depressing place.
