Introduction
This article seeks to explain how workplace bullying can have a serious adverse impact on individuals and businesses. Workplace bullying can be the result of a single individual acting as a bully or a company that allows and encourages negative behavior. Bullying occurs between people in all settings; home, community and workplace (McLaughlin, 2014 ). It is a pervasive, targeted and planned effort that can be overtly obvious or can fly under the radar and is conducted by practiced and malicious individuals who seek power, control, domination and subjugation (Wiedmer, 2011).

According to Wiedmer (2011) bullying behaviors are behind all forms of harassment, discrimination, prejudice, abuse, persecution, terrorism, conflict and violence. Understanding bullying gives a person the opportunity to understand all forms of bad behavior. According (McLaughlin ,2014) bullying remains the single most important social issue of today. Bullying may be innocently provoked because there target is competent, popular and successful individual(Wiedmer, 2011). Bullys sees others as a threat to their own status. Some bullying situations involve employees bullying their peers, rather than a supervisor bullying an employee.

Encourage reporting conduct regular surveys and focus groups. Analyze and respond to data. Provide training for leaders, managers and all other staff on how to respond (Baack, 2012). Form an interdisciplinary committee to oversee and modify the Code of Conduct as needed. Define a framework for understanding and addressing disruptive behavior. Create a Code of Conduct that defines professional behaviors and unacceptable behaviors and includes policies and procedures for response
