I had a fun, busy, and learned a lot kind of day. Nurse Lily was very pleasant, informative, and she wanted to me to do hands on nursing care with the students. That day was Puberty educational day for the 5th graders. There were parents that we showed the Puberty video separate from the students. I was shocked to see that there were only seven parents that showed up and they were all female.
On Monday 06/27/16 at 2148 hours I was dispatched for an assault at Cedar Ridge Apartments located at 30819 124th Ave SE in the City of Auburn, King Co, WA. Dispatch advised the reporting person, Amber Archer, stated a male was hitting children with a cane. When I arrived I observed several people in a group speaking with Officer T. Minkler. Officer Minkler pointed to a male, a stated he was a possible witness and father to one of the victims.
In the medical office setting I can help create a positive organizational climate. When it isn’t positive I have the tools to help change it. When forming work teams I can make sure I have the same goals and values. I can ensure the teams I’m forming have the same goals and values as well. I can look for the kinds of games people play and decide not to play them.

Being a Medical Office Assistant involves assisting the administrative by handling clerical and clinical duties. Wednesday: My day began by attending a bed unit meeting. Afterwards, I went to a nurse huddle meeting where I learned about issues that are occurring in nursing. When I returned to the floor I filled isolation carts for the department. Later I had the opportunity to sit in on an internal interview.
An unannounced follow up inspection was conducted on this date, 10/27/2015. The director was present. Discussed the prevention of hazards in the bathroom from the recent investigation conducted on 9/22. The director stated all caregivers are to inspect bathroom before and after each use. If a hazard is observed the caregiver must clean up and not allow a child in bathroom until floor is completely dry.
My home, my loved ones, and my daily routine easily constitute my “comfort zone” where I have support, resources, and luxuries such as various electronic devices. During a winter break, however, I left these luxuries and daily routine for a weekend to live in a Dorothy Day house that serves homeless women in downtown Detroit. Each morning, I walked in the bitter cold to serve at the local soup kitchen and returned to the house in the afternoon to perform household chores and converse with the guests. The experience of living in the house and serving in the soup kitchen encouraged me to reflect on the priviledge of having a home, food, and access to health care services. Sofia reported that she has a good relationship with both parents. She indicated if something is bothering her, she will speak with the parent with whom she is with. Sofia reported that her mother’s home is smaller than her father’s. She indicated that both homes have the same rules.
For my naturalistic observation assignment I’m going to be walking around campus smiling at everyone that I pass by. Then I’m going to observe how many males and females smile back at me. Smiling at people is something that’s natural to me, I do it all the time. I usually smile at the people I walk by without even looking at them. What I never did is observe how many people smile back at me, or if there’s a sex difference in smiling.
On February 21, 2018, I had the opportunity to job shadow Ms. Drohn, the assistant professor in the school of nursing. The main reason why I choose to shadow Ms. Drohn was because I have been told by others that I will make a great teacher someday. I figured how bad could it be to experience what it is like to be a teacher. After all, my other main goal is to be a pediatric nurse so this worked out perfect because I get to experience what it is like to teach nursing students.

I was in an unfortunate situation once in my career when my boss then, gathered some of her loyal members together and instructs them to help look for things that could be used to get me remove from the job. In a matter of days, you should have seen how many things these people came up with. They put these negative things together by lying and forcing junior workers to say things that were not true.
AAS- Medical Office Procedures Week 2 Discussion Judy Potts Explain why pharmaceutical representatives leave samples of expensive medications with physicians. Pharmaceutical representatives, show the physicians the newest drugs on the market, to drum up business for the pharmaceutical companies. The representatives leave samples of the products, In hopes that the doctor will strat prescribing their new name brand products for his patients instead of generic drugs. Also, in some cases, the patients are not financially able to purchase a new drug not knowing if it will help with their disease. The clinic 's management staff will determine whether they will be except the newest medication samples from the representative.
The organization I chose to observe, and interview three people at is called Shorty’s Lunch, my family’s business. It is a small restaurant located in Washington, PA that has been around for over eighty years. The people I chose to observe, and interview were; Steve the owner, Leslie the head waitress, and John the general manager. Steve the owner of the restaurant has worked there since he was around sixteen years old.
I cannot recall any other time I experienced so much joy and satisfaction. It was on the warmth of a spring day in March, 2015. After finishing the spring semester at high school, the school gives students a one-week holiday to relax or to go somewhere. A beach trip in the spring is always a good idea for us who live near the sea, but this time I was on the bus with my classmates heading to the airport. The school had organized a Habitat Trip to the Philippines, where my classmates and I decided to go to build houses.
