Three history and politics credits should be mandatory in high school.
The study of world history over the years has given everyone to chance to reflect on who we are as both individuals and members of groups. Analyzing how humankind has developed since out ancestors were alive is the best way to contend with the question of what makes us special and unique, as opposed to other living species. National history shows us what is different about a specific part of the world and the people that reside in it.

The primary practical value of this education is that it smooth’s the way for students to become futures professors of history. However they also learn how certain events have impacted our planet and also to be aware of how far the world has come since our ancestors were alive.
An important fact is that past events have happened and similar events could easily happen in years to come, events such as September 11th 2001, fighting for civil rights, the stock market crash and assassinations. History is pure non-fiction and the world is still continuing to add more occurrences in the history books. It’s been shown that we cannot live peacefully in an ever-more interconnected world if we don't understand each other, and to understand each other we must know each other and where we have come from. We didn't just all spring up a few years ago. Everything we are, is based on something that happened to our parents, their parents, and so forth.
