Almost every high-school senior is faced with making the decision that will impact the rest of their life--will you attend college? And if so, where? How do you figure out whether college is worth it or not? I think it all comes down to your end goal--what you want to do with your life. Every choice that is made has many factors that need to be considered. In this case, you need to consider what you want to do in the future, how much you are willing to sacrifice now to ease the future and how much you want to get out of your college education and experience. You may think completely opposite and think that college is not worth the cost. You may also think that too many people are attending college due to an increased dropout rate(Rose and Vedder). As students strive to get accepted into college, many forget the purpose of college or are just unsuccessful and cannot graduate and earn a degree.
