The definition of education is to give or receive instruction especially at a school or university, but when you think of school popularity is always a factor. Going into my Freshman year at Gregori High School I wasn't thinking about family, education, sports, or anything of that nature. The only thing I thought of was how I was going to fit in. I signed up for clubs and football to achieve my goal of meeting new people to climb the social ladder. I was on an oblivious path then which could affect my collegiate placement in the future. My grades plummeted from around a 3.0 to barely holding a 2.0. I was so deep in trouble that when I tried to become better it only made it worse. I began thinking it'll all be over when wrestling starts so I can show everyone that i'm worth something and I can make something good of myself. One day I was in science class and my partner got up to get supplies for our lab. The girl in front of me asked me if i could hand her my partners phone which was slightly hanging out of her backpack. I assumed they were friends from previous conversations that played out in front of me so I agreed with no intention of inferior activity. The girl who grabbed the phone ended up stealing it and an investigation began trying to seek out who stole it. Out of all the kids they questioned I had the worst record of the school and when I told the truth about handing the phone over it was pinned on me as being an accomplice to stealing. I was suspended for four days but was on interdistrict transfer so I was forced to move schools to my home school Davis High. Those four days were some of the hardest of my life. Not only haunted with the thought of not being able to wrestle my Freshman year because of my suspension and interdistrict transfer sit-out law but I also had to work with my Dad who is a plumber and dig trenches as punishment.
