I never dreamed of me moving around from place to place. Moving from state to state, city to city, house to house, and school to school is a challenge in itself. Big changes are not common for most people, but for me, it’s normal. The ability for me to adapt to change is incredible. Adaptability is a trait that I feel is most unseen in my life, no one knows that I move from all over. Moving from Myrtle beach to Charlotte was a big move, moving from the country to the city wasn’t a big adjustment for me. The house in Charlotte was much nicer than the last house, and a big neighborhood with a lot of kids. This move wasn’t significant in terms of house and neighborhood, actually was better for my social skills. The move to Charlotte brought a lot of challenges and new experiences. The schools were smaller compared to Charlotte, Between three hundred and eighteen hundred kids at a school. The kids in the city weren’t the finest either. They only talked with people they were friends with. A challenge for me was being accepted or liked by others. Basketball was a challenge to, being a new student only having one day to tryout is tough, and the coaches want the players they had last year. Huntsville brought my skills of trying new things such as being the basketball manager, and my ability to play music. When I played drums for my church, I felt like a different person. Huntsville was tough, but introduced me to new things that I turn out to love, even though it was 1 year then another chapter was about to begin. In August, my family moved to Hoover, Alabama. This move was very stressful, because we didn’t have a set house until September. We got a new house due to the other one being old and rundown.
