Introduction
Immigration is the movement of people into a country in order to settle there permanently or temporarily. People immigrate because of pull factors normally otherwise there are other factors that compel individuals and groups to migrate i.e. forced migration e.g. Refugees.
Crime is an unlawful activity committed by people and is punishable. People may commit crime to fulfill their needs or they may have greed to accumulate more wealth. There are many types of crime, reasons to commit a crime and ways to commit a crime which I am not going to discuss.
In this paper we will come to know about that whether previous immigration has been associated with criminal activities within an area and the reasons behind it.

Some studies in the past prove that there is a consistent relationship between immigration and crime and some explained that there is no direct connection. The relationship between immigration and crime varies over time and localities. Social exclusion exist everywhere even in the present but in past its magnitude was higher than the present so there was no access to human rights and higher discrimination (racial). The social exclusion made distinction between whites and blacks, elites and oppressed etc. So the blacks and oppressed population were seemed more involved in criminal activities. Some studies proves that immigrants are more involved but in contrary, also the foreign born citizen of a county are seem to be slightly more law-abiding and have greater respect for law than the native born citizens because these people came from the countries where the government and criminal courts are more efficient i.e. immigrants from northern Europe and also those from
