The first piece of information I learned from chapter three is to provide an opinion or attitude about the facts rather than stating the obvious when writing a thesis. A writer who creates a thesis statement that addresses their opinion on the chosen topic avoids writing a thesis statement that expresses the obvious and can be used by anyone without using too much information.
