Psychoanalytical theory is the theoretical structure established by Sigmund Freud and his colleagues that believe the unconscious stimuluses are measured to shape standard and uncharacteristic conduct growth and behaviors. Learning that these theories consist of three components, id’s which drives the individual to seek instant gratification which can lead to the possibly of committing acts of aggression. Ego is where the individual will use whatever means to achieve their ultimate goal of gratification, and super ego which guides the individual sense of right and wrong, when conducted according to the person ego it will dismiss what is considered morally inappropriate yet tolerating what others see as morally possible (Schmalleger, F 2013). . We all can agree that social and the environment also can be attributed to individual committing crimes, I believe that in the future society will demand that if a person is predisposed to criminal behavior due in part to genetics, a more aggressive form of determent will be expected, based on previous forms of determent. I’m not suggesting that in the future extreme measure would be looked into, such as gene selection, which for the most part will eradicate that particular gene from the individual. As we have learned most come from dysfunctional families and a less than ideal environment, with the current advancement in behavioral science and continued research in this area society will I believe more compassionate with the plight of theses
