Cultural diversity is also called multiculturalism. It is having a heart and mind that acknowledges, accepts values and celebrates different ways via which people live and interact all over the world. Now what is discrimination? Is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex. In 1920-1945 America showed so much discrimination toward many cultures African American, Japanese American and Hispanic American. Many White Americans show others cultures that many villains throughout this time. They show other cultures that America isn't a place they can call home or live in peace. This Riot began when Marines were harassing those with the Zoot suits. The Marines really didn't like Hispanics especially teenagers. They didn't like them very much why they made good salaries and were wearing good clothes but what really made them pissed off was how Hispanics were dating white women. This doesn't show others that America is a land where others can call home. The show that the whites were the dominated anyone in their way will be punished even if it's not their fault just like the black soldier. This environment can cause a Civil War in America and America couldn't afford that at the time. Soon LAPD came in clear the area but that didn't stop the riot spread all over the place where there are Mexican Americans. They even beat on Africans Americans who wore the Zoot suits. The whites couldn't stand minority groups in high-class Neighborhoods they saw that it was a competition this proves that whites were the problem at the time instead making peace with the other cultures instead fighting with them. They were many cultures fighting in the war with the whites but if they showed them that they were allies they would have increased more cultures to fight with them in the war and fight for their
