Zoroastrianism had a significant impact on reconstructing the social structure of the Iranian race. Looking back, many years ago when ancient Egypt used thousands of people toiling under harsh conditions as “slaves”, Cyrus the Great, a Zorostrian King had made the first declaration of Human Rights. Zoroastrians developed the idea of equalization between peoples social class which would divide humans base on their wealth, power, colour, place of birth, and the race they belong to. This mentality has stayed and is being cherished by Iranians all around the world. It is the very reason to why Iranians are united, hospitable and have consideration for other peoples dignity. Furthermore, after the islamic Revolution in 1979, the original national flag of Iran displayed with the Lion and the Sun symbol was banned by the government in order to cut all strings between people and the thought of life before the revolution. The Farvahar symbol however, which is a symbol for the state religion of the incident Persian Empire, Zoroastrianism, was not removed. As a result, since the 20th century, the Farvahar has been the most worn pendant amongst Iranians all around the world. This icon has become a well known …show more content…
