Zoroastrianism is said to be one of the oldest religions in the world. Zoroastrianism was the largest religion and said to be one of the most influential in the Middle East. The similarities between Christianity and Judaism are noticeable, especially since those religions came after Zoroastrianism. It influenced other religions in many ways such as heaven and hell and resurrection. There’s dualism and the time for judgment at death that all have their background in Zoroastrianism. I don’t think it lessens those beliefs but if you ask yourself if you are a Christian; If you believe Christianity is the ultimate faith or the one and only true religion, when it actually is a duplicate of Zoroastrianism. The common facts that bind these religions’ all have an importance on good versus evil, the holy writings and teachings and even angels and demons. All believing that evil itself is in fact a major and active force that occurred in the world. The two spirits of Zoroastrianism, Ahura Mazda the good or eternal and Angra Mainyu the evil. The battle between good and evil with himself and with nature is common in all religions. The judgement day has its differences but the belief of heaven and hell is there. In Christianity states that a savior is born, judgement day, good and evil and heaven and hell. In Zoroastrianism, prophets are born and the third and last is the savior who brings the final judgement. All can be resurrected and the final judgment by Ahura Mazda over the good and the evil take place. The evil either are in hell eternally or some say it is possible to be freed of your evil and allowed to stay on Earth evil free. Christians believe you are born and will sin but to repent your sins and ask for forgiveness will lead you to
