Consequences
As we read through the novel Jurassic park we get to see the possible unexpected consequences that could occur if there was someone like John Hammond who would want to build a dinosaur park in real life.
One of these consequences could be the deaths of innocent people. I say this because as we saw in the book 24 people were involved with the making of Jurassic park. 8 people died and 6 others went missing. this is a huge consequence because many people could lose their lives and if they are under control of someone like John Hammond who didn’t even really care and was just trying to cover their deaths with other explanations just so he could make a profit , would cause a recipe for disaster.
Another consequence is the
A total of three thousand people died that morning. The worse thing is that four hundred of them were policemen and firemen they were trying to save other people but they died in the action. They all died from the collapse or being stuck in the rubble for too long. ("11 Facts About 9/11.") This disaster caused lots and lots of lives from innocent people.
This explosion left 168 people dead and many more injured. The one aspect that all the victims had in common was that they were all innocent civilians affected by the bombing. This act of terrorism seemed so random that it left everyone was asking why and who had committed this horrendous act. Timothy Mcveigh with the help of a former roommate of his, Terry Nichols, constructed a homemade bomb which was implanted in the Ryder truck.
The impact of these actions the law enforcement is more vigilant. Furthermore, the San Bernardino shooting ended with 14 dead and 21 injured. The masterminds were Syed Rizwan and his wife Tashfeen Malik, who lead this evil plan. Although the couple were not affiliated with any terrorist group.
On that day, more than three thousand people died including innocent civilians, firefighters, and passengers on those airplanes. The cruel act from the terrorists cannot be ignored and pushed aside. The government needed to step in and do something. This would be an unforgettable tragedy that will remain in the history of the United States forever.
People now have to Question if they are safe where ever they may go. Also makes people wonder if the government is doing enough to stop the terrorist in America. The Bombing took away a piece of mind for all Americans and people question their safety on America soil. The fact is there can be terrorists were ever anybody goes even in America. Although America is fighting against terrorism we have not done enough to stop these acts from happing yet.
Poetic Justice, an outcome in which vice is punished and virtue is rewarded usually in a manner peculiarly or ironically appropriate for instance when humans attempt to control nature and are justly punished. This can be found in Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, a story in which a crazed scientist, John Hammond, assembled a team of top scientists to recreate extinct dinosaurs to use as attractions at his amusement park. In Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, Ed Regis, John Hammond, and Dennis Nedry were rightly punished. One character to suffer from poetic justice is John Hammond, the owner of InGen. Throughout Jurassic Park John Hammond is deceptive, selfish, and misleading which is wrong because although what he did wasn’t very serious it could have gotten worse over time and he could have begun to lie about serious situations and end up committing a crime, therefore, he had to die before he caused someone to be someone to be
The United States lost 343 firefighters and this was a huge impact on many families and engine companies. “On Sept. 11, at the World Trade Center, it suffered the loss of 343 firefighters,” (Frazier, 1). Many fire departments lost many crew members and brothers. This affected many families. This also affected the economy too.
Killing 64 people on the plane and 125 people from the Pentagon. Marilyn Wills, Christopher Braman, and Tony Rose were the people who rescued people from the Pentagon. Since that tragedy, there's a museum about the Pentagon there. People who risked their lives and didn't
The third attack turned into a landing in a field in Pennsylvania. Overall, over 3,000 people were killed. That includes over 400 police officers and
And lastly (4) Justice meaning that benefits and risks should be fairly distributed. This four principles are now going to be applied to the movie Jurassic park a movie made in 1993 by the director Steven Spielberg. The movie is about an entrepreneur who secretly creates dinosaurs from past DNA. In other words he is cloning the dinosaurs to make a theme park and so he invites a paleobotanist, palaeontologist, a
A few were killed by the toxic dust that appeared when the Twin Towers came crashing down. The debri contained 2,500 toxins. These carcinogens are supposed to have caused debilitating illnesses. It is also believed that the rubble and contaminations also had an effect on unborn children whose mothers were living in the New York City area at the time. There were also many economic and cultural effects.
After these collisions, there was millions of burning debris all over the place, surrounding the buildings close by and also the streets below. There were four planes that had been hijacked that day, two of them of which were flown into the Twin Towers, one of the other planes crashed into the Pentagon just outside Washington D.C, and
If all the mistakes made at the airport were avoided, the people on the plane would still be alive. It was in Vancouver where the bag was dropped off. The bomb was let on to the plane due to the x-ray machine being broken. Even though the security team knew it was a high-risk flight, they did not bother to do a thorough job checking the bags to see if they would be able to put them on the plane. They did use handheld devices that were to be waved over the bags and would “detect” anything thing that would not be passed onto the plane, but as we know now those devices failed many people.
Just thinking that one of your family members could be dead right now if one flight wouldn 't have been canceled is kind of a scary feeling. 9/11 changed America forever and it will never be the same. Many people sat in front of televisions and radios listening hoping there loved ones would come home. Some even expected calls. Al Qaeda attacked the WTC for many reasons.
The attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others. Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four planes. Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.
