Boston Massacre took place on March5,1770 when British armies opened fire on a group of colonists killing five men in the city of Boston. This occurred during the Stamp Act, the Boston people were not happy to see British soldiers on the street. The British implied new taxes on American colonies including household goods. They were not happy by the laws. So, the colonists were protesting against them. While protesting, they started throwing sticks and in the process, injured one of the soldier. This made British troops angry and then they started firing. Three colonists were killed at the spot while two lost their lives from the after-wounds. The government immediately put the troops in jail and some were accused to be the murderer. The troops were then removed from the city. I find the patriot here more believable because whatever they did, they did for the country. They did not want other country’s people to rule over them, no one ever wants that. They did not like the taxations and laws which was unfavorable for common people. The thing that, the British walked on the street of Boston ruling all over the place, made the Americans angrier. They fought for the justice, they fought for their rights and for the rights of people all over the nation. They protested on behalf of every citizen which made some of them lose their lives. The image seems as though the British were firing the Americans with no mercy, as if they were in a war. It looked as they were killing almost everyone. There is cloud of smoke coming from riffle everywhere. People look more violent from British side and American side seems to be the unfortunate victims.
