In the nervous system, there are neurotransmitters which are “chemical that crosses the synaptic cleft between nerve cells to transmit impulses from one neuron to the next” (Durand & Barlow, 2013). Excessive or deficit amount of neurotransmitters might trigger several psychological disorders. Neurotransmitters function like currents in the brain where sometimes they run in parallel and form a path as according to the sensitivity of the neurons while sometime their path is overlapping with one another (Durand & Barlow, 2013). Hence, they are regard as the brain circuits with tremendous amount in the brain. It is found that, certain kind of behavior are somehow affected by changes in the neurotransmitter activity (Durand & Barlow, 2013).
