We’re living in 1984 don’t you think? Well not really we’re living in 2018 which so happens in our society is surrounded by surveillance that’s how the government watches over us in many ways. We as humans our always watched. Think about when we go to public places there is surveillance systems all over the place. Not only just to see shoplifters or any crime being committed but for the government to look over us. Technology in present day society is closely paralleled to Orwell’s vision in 1984 because in our phones or any technology device we use today have trackers duplicated in every device use to hear conversations and watch us through our screen. This quote signifies my first reason on how the government uses trackers to hear over conversations among us. When it says “ the more complete the file, the better” means more information is better than less. So if they don’t have enough information about every single person than they’re not doing their job right.
