“Yes, of course,” she replied. She rushed inside her home and came back holding a phone. She dialed 911 and she started talking I couldn’t hear what she was saying.
She came back to the door, “The police should be here soon to take you,” she said. She allowed us to come in and sit on the couch while she did something. We sat there silent until we heard sirens. The police pulled in the woman’s driveway, she walked up to the door and the woman answered gesturing us to go with the police. I grabbed Kelly’s hand and walked outside. I told the woman thank you and she closed the door.
I explained everything to the police, and they brought us in their car. They drove us to the police station and called our parents, telling them we were ok and alive. We are alive, I thought.
“Hey, Kelly you and me make a pretty good team,” I said with a smile.

Our parents walked in and Kelly and I were both brought to tears.
“Mom, Dad!” Kelly and I screamed in unison.
We both ran to them and gave them a never ending hug.
“I am so glad to see you!” I said crying.
“We have been so worried, we thought we lost you both,” she said in a sad sob. Even Dad looked like he was crying.
“I love you so much,” I said giving Kelly, Mom, and Dad a hug. “Where did your Aunt and Uncle go?” “Your Uncle was gone a while before you guys disappeared, “ she said. “I knew it!” I said mortified. “Knew what?” asked Dad. “I will explain later, when it is important,” I said. I looked him right in the eye, and I could see something deep in his eyes that I never saw before. It scared me.
“Ok,” he said.
His voice startled me, he had a concerned look on his face.
“Sorry,” I said, “I didn’t mean to stare, I just miss you guys.” I saw the glare in his eyes again, it’s probably nothing, I am probably just still freaked out from
