Problem 143 The issue is whether Johnson was discharged by the alteration of the check and what reply should the bank’s attorney make. UCC §§3-115, 3-407, 3-406, and 4-401(d), addressed the alteration of instruments, whether an instrument is properly payable, the issue of discharge, negligence of an altered instrument and the good faith rule. It also addressed which party is liable when an instrument is altered and when is the bank is responsible to re-credit an account. Specifically, for this issue, I will use UCC §4-401 (d): A bank that in good faith makes payment to a holder may charge the indicated account of its customer according to: (1) the original terms of the altered item; or (2) the terms of the completed item, even though the bank knows the item has been completed un- less the bank has notice that the completion was improper.
Mr. Jones killed Mr. Kelley, there is just an overwhelming amount of evidence that points directly to Mr. Jones committing the murder. First of all, Mr. Jones was jealous of Mr. Kelley because Mr. Kelley had destroyed Mr. Jones’ business by stealing all of the customers so he had none. This Fact is important because it shows that Mr. Jones had a motive against Mr. Kelley. If Mr. Kelly wasn’t taking all of Mr. Jones work then his company would be able to prosper. Another important piece of evidence is that Mr. Kelley’s blood was found outside of Mr. Jones apartment.
In September of 1961, a woman from District of Columbia had an intruder break into her apartment. While the invader of the home was there, they had taken her wallet, and also raped the woman. During the investigation of the crime, the police had found some latent fingerprints in the apartment. The police then established and processed the prints. The prints were then connected back to 16 year old Morris A. Kent.
The fingerprints of Surratt and Anderson were both tied to crimes involved in this case. The defendants at trial were being convicted on two counts of second-degree murder. The state had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendants had killed Cook and Kirby. Cook and Kirby were discovered in a container with a lid that was taped shut and painted over, this was known because of where the fingerprints were impressed. Although their bodies were found, no murder weapon was ever discovered by the autopsies performed showed Cook and Kirby were both killed with fatal gunshots.
The Murder of Ron Goldman Stabbed almost twenty-two times on the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and thigh, Ron Goldman suffered a terrible death. After befriending and delivering the glasses that Nicole Simpson’s mother had forgot, he was unprepared for his demise. I have a slight idea on who it could be although, he may not be the only one. Due to the resources I have looked into, there is much more evidence to look for, it may have been famous football star, O.J. Simpson.

The Unsolved Murder of Arlis Perry The girl who was brutally raped and murdered in a church on Stanford University’s campus was Arlis Perry. This nineteen year old college student was going through her normal day to day routine and was unexpectedly murdered. For forty years this case has been opened and never yet has been solved. The murderer of Arlis Perry seems to be a guy named David Berkowitz from New York in which he wrote a book and put clues as if he killed Arlis. Arlis Perry was a nineteen year old Stanford University student who lived with her husband of just a couple months near campus.
Mr. Stevens isn’t guilty. The evidence against Stevens wasn’t foolproof. The Prosecutor didn’t have enough compelling evidence against him that couldn’t be contradicted. The officers, and everyone on the case, tried too hard to find the culprit, and with that overlooked facts. Didn’t look at all possible evidence, and dismissed the idea of another suspect altogether.
The shoe on the shoe of one victim had red fibers trapped on the side. Several more fibers were collected from other bodies as they were found. Law enforcement released information to the media about the fibers. The release effected a change in the way the bodies were disposed of. Prior to the release the bodies were found in wooded areas miles from the area the children had

Casey Anthony In 2016 there were a total of 17,250 murders in the United States. Murders in the United States compared to those internationally are quite high. In 2012 the Germany murder rate was at 0.8 while the United States murder rate stood at 4.7. 14 percent of these murders were committed by strangers, 15 percent were family members or spouses of the victims, and one third were acquaintances with the victims, the other one third of the murder relationships was undetermined.
State vs. Mayfield Trial On December 27th, 1989, State Police Officer Edward Mayfield pulled over Donna Nugent to a shady area where he strangled her and threw her body off of a bridge. We don’t know why he pulled her over. He then proceeded to strangle her with a rope. I believe State Police Officer Edward Mayfield is guilty of murder in the first degree because he had and hid the murder weapon, pulling over specifically blonde women, and he changed the activity log.
The victim had no shirt or pants on, and there was a slice on the back of his neck and the back of his left leg. There was also the rope used to tie him up, which could not be identified by trace analysts because they had never seen it before. He wiped his knife clean on Eberle’s shirt, and left the
Ron was a black belt and in good shape and when he was taken in there were injuries all over his body including cuts and scrapes on his knuckles that suggest that fought the murderer for ten to fifteen minutes before finally being killed. The autopsy report for Nicole Brown states that “The incised wound of the neck is gaping and exposes the larynx and cervical vertebral column” and “On the left side the left common carotid artery is transected with hemorrhage in the surrounding carotid sheath and the left internal jugular vein is subtotally transected with only a thin strand of tissue remaining posteriorly with surrounding soft tissue hemorrhage”(Nicole) show that Nicole was not murdered in a simple way. Clean cuts made by the murderer suggest that they had some experience with killing since if it had been slightly off blood would have spilled down her throat and it did not. OJ Simpson had no reported knife training and his intolerance to blood make the situation unlikely as blood sprayed everywhere. OJ’s physical condition did not match what happened at
