There are many financial principles that can be found in God’s word to counsel and to help people in their personal finances. These financial principles begin with God being the source of everything and that includes money. The second principle is that giving is essential in order to receive you must give. The third principle is that living on a margin it simply means allowing for things to happen. The fourth principle is on the concern of saving money and setting something aside for a rainy day. The fifth principle is the secret of Contentment how to be content with what one has. The sixth principle is to keep out unnecessary debt and thus avoiding the debt trap. The seventh principle is the importance of keeping records and making a budget. The eighth principle is work hard, nothing in life comes easy and behind every success are hours of hard work. The ninth principle is seeking God’s advice on large purchases and investments. The tenth principle that will be discussed is God’s recommendation to not co-sign. The most difficult part for many is, how do I achieve this goal and still remain true to my religious beliefs? Financial advice and guides on how to be successful and financially free may come and go, but the Bible can provide us with the financial wisdom we need. As Christian’s we turn to the Bible for advice on every aspect of our lives, why would we not turn to God’s word for advice on how to handle, manage and maintain our money?
