A Knight’s Tale In history of Europe, the Middle Ages lasted from the fifth to the fifteenth century. It was a time of castles and peasants. It covers the time from the fall of the Roman Empire to the rise of the Ottoman Empire. There are a lot of similarities and differences between the depiction of the Middle Ages in the movie A Knight’s Tale and the actual Middle Ages. Knights were honored and respected in the movie, as well as they were in the Middle Ages. Peasants took up about ninety percent of society in the movie and in medieval times, too. Peasants were called the Commons because there were so many of them. In the movie, they took up most of the stands while watching the knights joust. There were three different social classes
