Nieves Sanchez became an ‘illegal alien’ at the age of seven. Encountering the normal language and culture barriers that every immigrant faces. She grew up hearing the stereotypes and stigma what an illegal ‘alien’/immigrant is and what they represent. Now she has no country to really call her own, because this country won’t recognized her and her home country most likely reject her. Mostly all her life she has lived has an illegal immigrant and the burden of being an illegal alien.
SGT. Barrett and I contacted a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot that was parked in an unlit area at approximately 2300 hours. Once outside of our vehicle I started flanking toward the right side of the white Nissan Maxima, as the windows were darked out. SGT. Barrett went to the driver side of the vehicle, where the door was ajar, with a male sitting in the driver's seat with his feet planted on the ground I heard what sounded like a dense metal object fall onto the pavement from the driver's side of the vehicle.
A store kept having missing firearms on their delivery trucks. The weird thing about this was that the seal on the truck was never damaged or broke. We knew that the firearms where making it on the truck but couldn’t figure out where they were going from there. When conducting his investigation he found out that the same truck driver was always driving the truck. My boss partnered with the ATF and they did surveillance where they followed this truck to a wooded area and watched the truck driver somehow was able to take the hinges off the doors and were able to get into the truck that way.
