Scott persevered to celebrate his arrival at the pole with his party even though it was difficult as they were very upset because of al the sacrifices and obstacles they came across on their way to the pole, which they felt was al for nothing because they did not get to the pole first. Scott compromised and attempted to be happy as his party was the second to reach the pole. Scott was honoured by England and was named a true hero because of al the obstacles and sacrifices he faced during his time in Antarctica.
