In the book "a streetcar named desire" there are characters who can be described with colors just by the way the act though out the book. One of the colors could be white in which Blanche could represent and the other color which is red could be represented by Stanley. In english colors are used to represent a character based on how they act. In Blanche's case the color that he could represented would be white. according to the meaning of colors white is usually used to represent as purity which is kind of true. for example throughout the story she is always in the dark when meeting Mitch. which shows that she is not being honest with Mitch. she used to be confident and independent person who was not scared of being herself and without the fear of love.
