Exploration of new land has been part of all human civilization since the birth of humans. Over time, there has been many curious explores that have wonder to say, “What else is out there?” These explores have traveled to many lands in the quest of finding a place to call home. When explores settled and founded the United States, they brought new hopes and dreams of making this new place home. With the help of these explores, it was possible for many immigrants to come over from all parts of the world making this country a melting pot of cultures and ideas. Another trait portrayed in Kennedy was his coarseness and strength to overcome any obstacle or challenge. When Kennedy gave his speech at Rice University he talked about the importance of the budget and how there was no room in the budget to waste any money, but the importance for the research for space was necessary he said, “it will be done in the decades of the sixties…. but it will be done before the end of this decade” (Kennedy) those were powerful words that should the strength of a man who believes in his country.
