Learning to play an instrument or being able to read sheet music is something every child should learn. Taking music classes in elementary could benefit the brain development in children, often relieve stress, and help the students in understanding responsibilities, all which assist them in becoming well-functioning adults. It is amazing how much playing an instrument can get a child's brain working in so many different ways.

The possibilities are endless for what can happen to a kid's brain just by taking music classes. In Source #2 it mentions nonstop about how "playing music helps kids use and improve they memory skills." Which can only be true because kids have to memorize notes and how to play the song from memory. Source #2 also continues to elaborate by explaining how "it makes kids more coordinated." When playing an instrument your fingers have to move in many different ways for sound to blossom.
