A True Patriot
In recent years’ comic book heroes like batman, spider-man and many others have entered the consciousness of the world. People with extraordinary abilities saving people and stopping the evils of the world. Tales of unimaginable things being told through movies, television shows, and comic books, however there is one hero whose stories where based off real life events. Captain America entered the world in the 1940’s. His stories were being read by millions of Americas of how he would fight against Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime. Captain America brought more to the public than over exaggerated stories that where use to today. His creation was instrumental in manifesting patriotism to the American people in WW2.

was fighting in the war. However, the impact Captain America made during WW2 was instrumental in what our world looks like today. This idea of Patriotism and standing up to injustices made Captain America who he was just an ordinary kid who wanted to fight for the people who couldn’t fight for themselves. Cap says it best in the movie Captain America the First Avenger where the Red Skull asks Cap what makes him so special and Cap says to him “Nothing I’m just a kid from Brooklyn”. All these things Cap laid out are still in effect today the comics industry thrives with sales of Captain America still to this day 76 years later. People still relate to him because his ideas are universal we all want peace and justice in this world and in today’s social and political climate it seems like people can never agree to what the color of the sky is. Captain America is someone we try to be because he embodies the America ideal it doesn’t matter what race, religion, political affiliation you are in the grand scheme of things we are all Americans fighting for a better world and that’s what Captain America help us do 76 years
