I wanted to show the class divide between Mickey and Eddie by acting out the scene when Mickey and Eddie first meet. I wanted to express to the audience how their movements and body language reflected their different classes and their tender age. I role played Mickey and did this effectively by exaggerating. I showed that Mickey was from a low class by using levels, I always sat down each time Eddie stood up to talk, this indirectly foreshadowed that Eddie would overpower Mickey financially and also even though Mickey and Eddie were children, Eddie was from a high class. I suggested that Mickey use levels to show he overpowered Linda by standing up to build tension and I directed that he use a loud voice and angry facial expressions as he stood up another peer directed for the red lights to be shone on them to symbolise danger as Mickey was unstable. Also it was suggested that Mickey use body language and movements to reflect he was eager and aggressive by walking in a fast pace uncontrollably looking for the pills. One peer directed that Linda use a sad facial expression and a far proxemics from Mickey with a closed body language to show she was no longer close with Mickey and also that she was depressed and sad about Mickey’s eager of the pills. I extracted information from the Forum Theatre to devise a naturalistic drama based on this scene. I was successful in creating a tense scene by exaggerating the character. My movement and gestures reflected Mickey's depression and madness I used body language because I frantically shaked my head to show Mickey was losing his mind and walked in a fast pace, I used an angry facial expression to show my anger and the red lights expressed this as well. I also made my face look pale to express Mickey's emptiness without the pills.
