“We can't take any credit for our talents. It's how we use them that counts.” said by Mrs Who, a main character in A Wrinkle In Time. Meg Murry, a young girl whose father has been missing for four years, goes on a quest to find him with her younger brother known as Charles Wallace and a classmate, Calvin O’Keefe. Before the journey Meg finds out that her young brother has been talking with three women who go by, Mrs Who, Mrs Whatsit and Mrs Which who have powers to travel through galaxies, light years away where Meg’s father is believed to be trapped. After overcoming many obstacles Meg, Charles and Calvin find Mr. Murry and return home to reunite with their mother. I believe the movie, A Wrinkle In Time was better than the book because it gives clearer pictures whereas when reading the book you have to visualize on your own and when watching a movie it can be more appealing to the audience, in movies when characters are in trouble there is music behind the actions which can make you more intrigued and interested. …show more content…
In the book it states, “The man with red eyes made the frightening grimace that passed for his smile.” Page 68, while this is descriptive and a bit disturbing, it is better portrayed in the movie. The look on the man with the red eye’s face is even more grimace in the movie, in a particular scene the man with red eyes had Meg, Calvin and controlled Charles in a room with no doors or windows and the expression on the man with the red eye’s face and his tone of voice was even more chilling than I could have imagined from with what was given to me in the
