“People are more than just the way they look.”-A Wrinkle in Time, this is just like a book there’s much more to it than what you see on the cover. In both the movie and the story they are about Meg with her little brother Charles Wallace, and her friend Calvin O’ Keefe go on an adventure through space to save Mr.Murry from IT and the evil IT is spreading throughout space. Also, they Tesser through space with three ladies, Mrs.Who, Mrs.Whatsit, and Mrs.Which. I believe the book was more powerful than the movie because, books let you make up your own visual in your mind wall in the movie, it gives you an image so you can’t use your own imagination, they tell what the characters thoughts and feelings are and, the movie changes major parts of the book that were important.
First, the book is more powerful than the movie because it lets you create your own image of the scene in your mind. In the book page 36 it states, “She was a marble white body with powerful flanks, something like a horse but at the same time completely unlike a horse, for from the magnificently modeled back sprang a nobly formed torso, arms, and a head resembling a man’s, but a man with a perfection of dignity and virtue, an exaltation of joy such as Meg had never before seen. From the shoulders slowly a pair of wings unfolded, wings made of rainbows, of light upon water, of poetry.” As you can see, in the book Mrs.Whatsit changes into a white horse with bright rainbow wings, but in the movie she changes into a green very large creature kind of looks like a wavy leaf, so from this the movie changed it from how it was in the
