Abraham Lincoln By Tim Galer Abraham Lincoln was the 16th U.S president. He was a remarkable man and made great efforts for America. He was sadly assassinated in a theater with his wife and friends. I am first going to talk about his childhood and his teenage to college years. He was born in Hodgenville Kentucky. His mother died when he was just nine years of age. He and his family moved seven different times. He did not want to be a farmer like his father was but decided to do railroad work, and jobs around his father’s farm.
