Have you ever looked up at the clouds and starting dreaming? Thinking about how your life can be different just by on decision. This is a piece of abstract art by Tom Ferdo. It’s called “As luck would have it”. This art piece came out on November 3rd,2012. In this art piece Tom Ferdo wanted to show different life scenarios people could relate to through this painting. With the three points of analysis color, symbols and point of view it helps people understand their view. The first point of analysis is colors. The colors in this art piece are vibrant and bold. Blue in this art work shows comfort, strength and peace. Comfort is being shown by the mother and daughter hugging. Some people can relate to becoming comfortable just by a hug. Strength is shown by the mother continuing to hug her daughter until she gains her own strength. Based on your firsthand experiences and view on things you could see a totally different view in this piece of art. Perhaps if you were a teenage boy looking at this. You could see two friends talking. One friends gives advice to the other one that just got done crying over a break up . The friend then offers the other to come to the ice cream shop to get her mind off the topic. A grandmother could see a mother and son after they left a funeral service. She is relating to this because she had attended one a couple weeks ago and saw a mother and son crying because it was there grandmother that passed. A teacher could see two sad foster kids crying because they didn’t get picked to get adapted that month. This reminded her of a student she had recently that was going threw the same thing. The point of view is great to know because it helps you understand someone just by there personal view. It could even alter your view and how you first seen it
