Abstract
The internet usage by children and adolescents is the norm in today’s era. With the increasing of internet usage by children and adolescent, a new form of bullying has developed-cyber bullying. Bullying is no longer at the school playground. Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that takes place through electronic devices. A frequently used definition of cyberbullying has been "an aggressive, intentional act or behavior that is carried out by a group or an individual, using electronic forms of contact, repeatedly and over time against a victim who cannot easily defend him or herself (Moreno & Megan 2014-05-01). This method of bullying can come through various ways including but not limited to e.g. text message, emails, videos, phones, computers and social networking sites. This type of bulling, cyberbullying allows children and adolescent to be bullied a lot easier than before. Within this cyber bulling proposal, the focus is not aimed toward berating social media, cyberbullying this proposal will address, especially among young adolescents.
